Description
The Synchronising Control SYN 4 ensures a synchronous travelling speed of trhee or four identical 24 VDC actuators on a smoke and heat vent (SHV). It is used on large roof flaps and domelights that have to be opened and closed by several actuators due to their heavy weight. Synchronous travelling of the actuators prevents such flaps/domes from moving unevenly and from distortion. If one of the actuators fails, the other actuators are automatically switched off at the same moment.
The Synchronising Control is supplied with power via the SHEVS control centre/control and is controlled by it. It therefore only works when a travel command is active. The SYN 4 is suitable for the actuator types G, S and SG.
