G5 thermo bulb

The G5-RWA thermo bulbs is a high-strength, thermal release element specifically designed for use in control and release devices for smoke and heat extraction systems (SHEVS). The hermetically sealed liquid expands as the temperature inside the glass bulb rises, causing the internal pressure in a bulb to rise until the thermo bulb bursts into tiny fragments at a pre-defined triggering temperature. The glass thermo bulb has a particularly short tip, which largely eliminates damage during installation or maintenance.

When using thermo bulbs in our VdS-approved valves, only thermo bulbs tested with the respective valve may be used (see thermo-valve data sheets). The standard diameter of the thermo bulb is 5 mm.
