Description

The mechanical hook locking device is used to lock the skylight dome/arc domes in the closed position. For use in opening mountings (e.g. BF and BG), in conjunction with the adjustable locking bolt EVB3 or the SET-L ventilation extension set.

When the SHE unit is closed or ventilation mode is on, the locking hook engages with the bolt fitted to the mounting bracket/ventilation actuator and is arrested by spring action. When the SHEVS mounting is opened, the hook automatically disengages from the bolt. Upon closing, it automatically reengages with the bolt.

The MHV has an integrated guide for direct inclusion of the Set-L of a ventilation actuator.

The holes in the locking hook allow the hook locking device to be manually unlocked using a cable pull.
