SYN synchronising control

de
SYN 2d-8

Description

The synchronous control ensures synchronous running speed of two identical actuators on a smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system (SHEV). It is used on large roof hatches and skylight domes, which, due to their heavy weight, must be opened and closed by two actuators. Synchronous operation of both actuators prevents such hatches/domes from moving unevenly and warping. If one of the two actuators fails, the other is automatically shut down immediately.

The SYN 2d synchronous control unit

is powered by and controlled by the SHEV control unit. It therefore only operates when actuator commands are active. The SYN 2d is suitable for 24 VDC actuator types G, S, and SG. It is available with an output current of 4 A or 8 A per actuator output.

The SYN 22a synchronous control unit

is powered and controlled by a SHEV control unit. It therefore only operates when actuator commands are active. The SYN 22a is suitable for the 24 VDC and 48 VDC actuator G, SG, SG1Bx, and SG1Cx. It is available with an output current of 8 A per actuator output.
